Renovations, air conditioning, kitchen appliances, additional circuits and other electrical changes can all be reasons to review whether the current setup still suits the property.

If a renovation includes new lighting, power points, air conditioning, kitchen appliances or other fixed electrical equipment, the switchboard and circuits form part of the bigger electrical picture.

Repeated tripping can have several possible causes. Rather than repeatedly resetting the affected circuit, tell JP Electrical which circuit is involved, what was being used when it tripped and whether the problem has happened more than once.
It can be useful to consider the switchboard as part of the electrical planning where a renovation is adding circuits, appliances, lighting, air conditioning or other significant electrical changes.
Some fixed electrical appliances can have different electrical requirements from the equipment they replace. Where required, the existing circuit and switchboard setup can be reviewed as part of the appliance connection work.
